It's never to early to learn how to bodyboard, as this young boy named Dylan shows us the way in complete confidence thanks to the many ergonomic and safety features of our boards that make riding them a breeze.

More lovely Wave Skater Pro bodyboard fans enjoying a day at the beach.

Self-explanatory.

2010 Landshark Pro Surfing Tournament
Phillip Little, our Florida sales representative, was just a little distracted while showing our
Wave Skater Pro bodyboards lineup at the Landshark Pro Surfing Tournament held
recently down in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. But who can blame him?

Reviews of the Wave Skater Pro 48" (NOT a paid advertisement)
Surfindaddy's (aka Tony) thoughts:
I'm writing this review as a "newbie" to the body boarding world, because generally, if there is much surf, I end up on my surfboard. The following is my experience with the 48" Wave Skater Pro.
I never could really get into the body boarding thing in the past - never was that impressed. I've tried the typical "boogie" boards in various forms, none ever gave me the thrill I get on my surfboard. I have to say, though, that after getting a chance to ride the Wave Skater and Wave Skater Pro, my opinion has changed. Body boarding gives you a closer experience with the wave, and once you've done a bottom turn and felt the acceleration down the line on a Wave Skater Pro, you realize that you stall by just leaning back, and accelerate by leaning forward. Because of the elbow channels, it is very easy to reposition your body on the board. This ride is so responsive - and it turns so easily! I weigh 190 pounds, yet the slightest input and wow, I'm on the face and off the lip, over the falls. Mind you, I haven't spent a lot of time - as a matter of fact, I'm really a rank amateur to body boarding.
Kay's thoughts:
I'm usually on the beach - mostly behind the camera. It has been years since I swam regularly, and I was never a big fan of body boards! A few months ago, I got out our Wave Skaters on a beautiful warm and sunny day at the beach - and I spent a couple hours in the water - the most fun I've had in the water in years. You have to realize - I was a water-baby growing up, loved to swim, but as I got older I just got away from it as I *hate* cold water, so the conditions have to be really just right for me to want to get into the ocean! So I haven't yet tried the Wave Skater Pro. Our daughters are not surfers nor experienced bodyboarders either, but they have both tried the new Wave Skater Pro and proclaimed it even better than the original - which they've used and loved for several years!

Welcome to 2010! Time for another round up of the news from SurfExpo 2010 in Orlando!
We were also thrilled to meet again an old friend, Bruce Blumenfeld - of Wave Skater!

After a few hitches (losing their original manufacturer, for one) they're back better and stronger than ever. The new manufacturer and design is better than ever, stronger, more durable, and has a nice textured surface now. We can't wait 'til it's a little warmer to try out our new 48" Wave Skater Pro! (Hey, this is Florida afterall - water temp is currently 58 degrees, and Kay won't stick a toe in 'til it's at least 75!) We also got to meet a couple of Wave Skater's sales representatives and one of their distributors. These are all great guys - Philip Little is from Titusville, Tony Girgenti is one of their distributors for the West Coast & Hawaii, and Matt Kent is from Delaware - and their testimonials are a must read! We'll try to be sure and post more info on the board this spring!

FIRST SOUTH SWELL=WEDGE SESSION
The excitement surrounding our Wave Skater Pro bodyboards is just starting to build! Check out the news story appearing on RXYM's web site concerning the first major swell of the season hitting California's world famous "Wedge" beach and pro rider Justin Crossman taking on the massive waves on our Wave Skater Pro 48" bodyboard. His exploits will soon be releashed on a video to air on our site in a few weeks, but it also looks like we weren't the only ones filming Justin on our board on 3/17/09. Read on:
FIRST SOUTH SWELL=WEDGE SESSION
Submitted by rxymfash on Tue, 03/17/2009 - 21:40 •Sports
The Wedge woke up today with Southern CA's first good South to push through.
RXYM's Justin Crossman, Ray Machado, Bob Kithcart, & Matt Byzak were on it.. getting footage for RXYM Fashion USA's new Bodyboard flick due for release in early 2010 (name of video not yet decided). Also making the trek to the wedge were a who's who of CA's top riders with a "J.O.J. from Hawaii" Jeremy Wright, wedge local Anthony Savoji, tech rider Kris Espinoza, Cylinders ripper Jason Rhodes, Alex & Nick Gero, Bob & RXYM's good friend Nico "Stinko", and last but not least Micah "The All American Rat". Standouts were Bob Kithcart Dking with Roach like style, making it look way too easy. Micah, Nico, and Kris consistently taking off on the biggest sets that came through and Justin Crossman doing a huge rollo on a 48" WaveSkater TM. (He is doing some riding for this company and this board is a beast. It's made of hard plastic* and easily could be ridden as a surfboard or used in the snow as a bobsled. Check out this board at waveskater.com.. narli!)
Look for footage and pics coming very soon to this website and (probably every other surf website out there). Cause when wedge breaks... it's where all the action goes down.
Get Radical!!
RXYM Fashion USA
* Actually our Wave Skater Pro bodyboards are not made of hard plastic, but rather stiffened EVA and another composite foam. (Our trade secret.)

It has raised side rails for gripping, a carved-out belly area and dual underside pontoons for a hydroplane effect at high speeds. The design cuts angles in the water faster than standard boards.
