We at Wave Skater®, LLC were determined to accomplish a few things when we first set out to design what we believed to be a revolutionary new type of bodyboard.

First, we wanted our bodyboards to be a lot easier to hold onto when the going gets tough.

Second, we wanted our bodyboards to be much easier for the average bodyboard enthusiast to steer and hold a track across the waves with.

Third, we wanted to build our bodyboards sturdy and hydrodynamic enough to allow the rider to make it all the way into shore, and then slide up onto the wet sand at the ride's conclusion, if so desired.

And finally, we wanted our bodyboards to fully satisfy the name that has come with this revelation; the "WAVE SKATER® PRO."

In pursuit of achieving these four goals, and over a time period spanning more than two years, many drawings and prototypes were made—each one better than the last—until we were fully satisfied with the results. Following successful completion of these tests, Wave Skater®, LLC was formed to bring these exciting results to the public;
